Her passion is photographing indigenous people living traditional
lifestyles. She has traveled extensively in the developing world,
including Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, Pakistan, North Korea, Mongolia,
China, and Cuba.
Sheryl gives presentations for public and private audiences and consults
on independent and third-world travel.
Her
images and stories reflect the humanity and dignity of her subjects.
Even when traveling in the most remote, impoverished places, Sheryl's
experiences of the people have always been of their kindness and hospitality.
Sheryl's
philosophy is that a smile, speaking a bit of the local language,
and observing local customs go a long way toward making friends and
creating goodwill.
